The course started with 14 attendees and 2 observers on 31st of March. With the leadership of FEI Tutor and S.I.E.C. Instructor Cedric Triolet; attendees practiced FEI Coaching System for 4 days at S International Equestrian Centre. IBK (Istanbul Equestrian Club) between 5-12 March 2009. The Project concerning the development, support and cooperation between the clubs that serves equestrian sport, is one of the goals among S.I.E.C. 2009 objectives. Istanbul Universitiy Veterinary Vocational High School (16 students) visited SIEC facilities on 28th of November for educational purposes. Initially the group was taken to a tour around SIEC and SIEC Pony Club that introducing the technical aspects of the facility. After, the head groom Yuksel Ince gave information about the maintenance of the stables and horses. Then Zubeyir Akbenli told the importance of a farrier by showing an example of a shoeing process. SIEC Directors, SIEC Team and SIEC Customers visited one of the most important artist of 20th century, a surrealist Salvador Dali at Sabanci University-Sakip Sabanci Museum on 5th of November. After the visit that accompanied with two guides the group was taken to Changa, a restaurant that is famous for its world cuisine.

FEI Coaching Course Level 2 which was accomplished in Turkey for the first time was started at S International Equestrian Centre on 4th of November. With the leadership of SIEC Consultant Gerry Mullins and SIEC Instructor Cedric Triolet, 12 candidates from Cyprus, Greece, Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey, completed the course on 9th of November.

The Level 1 FEI Course Designer Course has completed at SIEC which lasted 5 days (18th-22th Nov.) with a number of 15 attendees. Werner Deeg (GER)and Stefan Wirth (GER) were tutoring the course which was organized by TBF and 15 attendees were given theri certificates after the exam by the tutors on 22th of November.

On 10th of October, Hillsiders get together at SIEC’s weekend organization which started at 10:00. 9 Families with 13 children were given a presentation about SIEC PONY CLUB by the Pony Club instruction Demet Vardar. The Cours took place at S International Equestrian Center Between 27-30 MAY 2008. 14 Candidates and 3 Observers were trained by Peter STIRJBOSCH for 4 days. On the last day the candidates were given certificates by the Mr. Strijbosch at the dinner organised by TBF. The General Secretary of TBF Mrs. Zeynep Gorbon and The Head Coach of SIEC Mr. Gerry Flynn attended to the dinner at Sipahi Ocağı Equestrian Center.
