SIEC Team Had Good Results in 2010 Winter Equestrian Festiaval
SIEC Team riders Gerry Flynn, Burak Azak and Oktay Sezek jumped in 2010 KGCC Winter Festiaval 1st Leg Competitions at the weekend. Burak Azak on SIEC Lanjaron took the 4th place where his trainer and the head coach of SIEC Team took 5th place on S.I.E.C. Lewis Cypher in 1.30m KGCC Welcome Steak. 63 starters competed in the class which was in 2 phases.

On S.I.E.C. Lanjaron, Burak Azak had a nice clear round in the second phases and had 24 sec by his performance he was in the 4th place and left Gerry Flynn in the 5th place with Sevil Sabancı’s grey geldin S.I.E.C. Lewis Cypher (24.06/0). Gerry competed also with S.I.E.C. Comet and produced a clear round in 25.52 sec putting himself in the 8th place. Evren Alam (IASK) on Candyboy had the fastest clear round of the day and took the trophy in 22.25 sec. SIEC rider Derin Demirsoy was in the 2nd place on his winner gelding Beko Gold of Gram. He finished the second phase in 23.48 sec.
On the same day, Gerry Flynn jumped with Lewis Cypher in the 1.15m KGCC Welcome Cup and with his timing, 34,05 sec in the second phase coming out with a clear round, he was in the 4th place among seniors. Sencer Can on Sarantela had the best time with 28 and took the trophy to his home.
On Valentine’s day riders were in the excitement of League Competitions. There were 5 different leagues in various heights starting from 80cm (Pony) up to 130cm. SIEC Team competed in 1.30m league presented by Galatasaray. Burak Azak competed with S.I.E.C. Lanjaron and S.I.E.C. Dusty Star both qualified for the jump-off. Burak had 4 penalties with both horses and he placed 10th. Gerry Flynn had a clear round on Sevil Sabanci’s bay gelding SIEC Comet. On the other hand Oktay Sezek rode his 7 years old gelding S.I.E.C. Castle Kelly Finn in the jump-off and unluckily he put one fence down and finished in the 11th place
It was Sencer Can who had the fastest time (32.10/0) in the jump-off on Sarantela and he won the 1st leg of Galatasaray League. Mert Alıcıoglu was in the 2nd place on Waldos (32.62/0)

Cameron Has gone to Belgium for CSI5*-W Mechelen show which started on 26th of December. On the second day Cameron rode 9 year old gelding S.I.E.C. SIEC Team Riders dominates the Private Cups and Turkish Championship for C.D.B and Ladies that was held in Capital Country Club in Ankara. Irish rider Gerry Flynn placed 6th for twice on the last day at the 3* show in Marcopoulo Olympic Centre. In the Young Horses Class 1.25 (6 years old)- 1.30m (7 years old) Gerry Flynn on the 6 years old mare SIEC Worella qualified for the jump off with 6 riders and he placed 6th with 4 penalties. The second day at the 3* show in Athens started with the 1.35m class. Gerry Flynn on Feng Schui completed the first round clear and continued in the second place. He had also another clear round in 31,85 sec which put him in to the 5th place. In order to make contribution in the development of equestrian sports, to give experience to the riders in different environments, S international Equestrian Centre welcomed Gurman Equestrian Sport Club which was the first club returned after the declaration of SIEC for clinics all over Turkey. For three days, in jumping discipline 14 riders with 20 horses trained with the experienced instructor and S.I.E.C. Cedric Triolet.
