SIEC Rider Derin Demirsoy Finished 6th in The Youngster Masters Small Final EYCUP U25
During 2009 jumping season around 300 young riders from 30 different nations tried to get the ticket of the final of the European Youngster Tour in various qualifying competitions which took place throughout the year in the run up to the big Final in last weekends' Frankfurt Horse Show.

From these qualifiers only 30 young riders received their ticket in return for their endeavor on the way up to the final. Turkish promising young talent Derin Demirsoy and his 10 year old Surprise represented Turkey among 30 finalists.
Throughout the season Derin and Surprise always kept their marvelous performance at the top and made it until Frankfurt. In the first qualifier (1.40m) Derin on Surprise, had two fences down and earned his place in the Youngster Master Small Final that took place on Sunday 19th. The 11 of the 30 could jump in the final which was 1.40m and Derin was among the 8 who could dream of victory. German rider Christina Vortmann on BB Carvallo put her name in the first place with a clear round in 37.35 sec. Derin Demirsoy did 8 and finished the final in the 6th place.
Frankfurt Horse Show started on 17th of December with national classes. The top riders of jumping and dressage disciplines made their appearance during the organization and the young riders performed in Dressage FEI World Cup Final. The total prize money of the jumping classes was around 250.000 Euro in which the famous Mrchus Ehning and Göran Bengsston showed up.
The “Leading Rider of 2009”, SIEC Team member Cameron Hanley competed with S.I.E.C. Caro Ass and S.I.E.C. Livello on Friday 18, at Olympia Exhibition Halls, London International Horse Show, and managed to keep two top ten positions at 1.50m class. more...

SIEC Team Riders dominates the Private Cups and Turkish Championship for C.D.B and Ladies that was held in Capital Country Club in Ankara. Gerry Flynn produced a spectacular win at Ankara and won the top three cups in Ankara. The second day at the 3* show in Athens started with the 1.35m class. Gerry Flynn on Feng Schui completed the first round clear and continued in the second place. He had also another clear round in 31,85 sec which put him in to the 5th place. Team Syria is the winner of FEI Nation’s Cup of Istanbul after 2 rounds of 1.50m course. SIEC Team rider Gerry Flynn On S.I.E.C. Janico won the biggest cup in Ankara (1.40m) on the last day at the show. In a field of 35 riders, only 6 of them qualified for the jump-off.
