CAMERON HANLEY MADE TWO TOP TENS AT LONDON OLYMPIA
The “Leading Rider of 2009”, SIEC Team member Cameron Hanley competed with S.I.E.C. Caro Ass and S.I.E.C. Livello on Friday 18, at Olympia Exhibition Halls, London International Horse Show, and managed to keep two top ten positions at 1.50m class.

Cameron Hanley completed the 1.50m Accumulator in 5th place on S.I.E.C. Caro Ass with 65 points in total in 49.74sec. Although he did the same point with the winner Pius Schwizer riding Unique X CH, his time was not quick enough to catch the Swiss rider when he stopped the time at 46.74sec. 31 riders competed from Ireland, Holland, Great Britain, Germany, Norway, Finland, Egypt and Austria.
The same day Cameron took the eighth place, this time in The Earls Court Olympia Christmas Cracker (1.50m), riding the grey stallion of Sevil Sabanci, S.I.E.C. Livello and he made two double clear rounds including a jump-off. The winner was from Egypt, Abdel Said on Avenir, the fastest combination of the Christmas Cracker.

The famous puissance was on Friday night and gave the spectators 4 rounds, full of excitement. The Puissance wall did not let the 5 riders of the final round jumped the 2.15m high clear and put the 4500 pound prize money in to 5 pieces. Natale Chiaudani on Vigaro Z, Michael Whitaker on the Fairview Cyber-Space, Cian O’Connor on Calistra, and last year’s joint winner Ellen Whitaker on Ladina came clear out of 2.05m wall and faced the 10cm up in the final lap, all leaving a piece down from the Puissance wall and had to share the prize money.

SIEC Team Riders dominates the Private Cups and Turkish Championship for C.D.B and Ladies that was held in Capital Country Club in Ankara. Gerry Flynn produced a spectacular win at Ankara and won the top three cups in Ankara. The second day at the 3* show in Athens started with the 1.35m class. Gerry Flynn on Feng Schui completed the first round clear and continued in the second place. He had also another clear round in 31,85 sec which put him in to the 5th place.
