SIEC RIDER DERIN DEMIRSOY, NOMINEE FOR THE SPORTSMAN OF THE YEAR
SIEC Rider Derin Demirsoy has been nominated for the "sportsman of the year ", by Milliyet Newspaper who organizes the traditional prize giving fro 56 years.

Among 11 nominees, Milliyet Newspaper proposed Derin Demirsoy from equestrian discipline for the sportsman of the year. We would like to felicitate Derin Demirsoy for his achievements at such a young age and call all the supporters of the equestrian sport to vote for him starting from today until 29th of December. Derin Demirsoy had a tremendous season in 2009 representing Turkey and SIEC in many international and national arenas. What is essential is that the young talent will keep on attracting all the eyes on him hopefully in the future.
Among his achievements this season, he jump for the National Team of Turkey in Hoofddorp FEI European Juniors and Young Riders Championship and finished in the 27th place among 99 best junior riders of from all over Europe.
In addition he had a sensational win in European Youngster Tour in Salzburg and in Roggel he was the winner of the Junior Grand Prix CSI2*Lately, he added his successful career another victory last month in Adana by winning the 1.35m TJK Cup while he was the youngest of all the competitors.
He was awarded by TBSV for being the most successful junior rider of the year. Yet he is at the half way of getting another one from Milliyet Newspaper. Whit this in mind, we would like to felicitate Derin Demirsoy for his achievements at such a young age and call all the supporters of the equestrian sport to vote for him starting from today until 29th of December.

Successful rider of SIEC Team Irish Cameron Hanley leaves for the 25th Stuttgart German Masters Horse Show CSI5*-W after deserved the leading rider award of the show in Vienne Austria depending on his thriving results with SIEC Livello and VDL Rocksina HD. SIEC rider Derin Demirsoy is presented his medal by Isa Capanoglu, TBSV Chairman of the Board, for being the most successful young rider of the season. The award is led by Mr. Capanoglu fir the first time this season and he stated that the award will be traditional for the “Children, Juniors and Young Riders”. Adana Show had a final on 8th of November , full of excitement and contention. It is one more time the favorite combination Sencer Can and Cleveland that deserved the Prime Ministry Cup in 2009. SIEC Team Rider, Irish Cameron Hanley riding SIEC Aristo had a nice win in 1.40m qualifier for Middle Tour today at Kiel Germany Baltic Horse Show CSI4*. Cameron and Aristo had the fastest time among 56 starters and put their name at the first place with 49.73 sec. SIEC Team Riders dominates the Private Cups and Turkish Championship for C.D.B and Ladies that was held in Capital Country Club in Ankara. Gerry Flynn produced a spectacular win at Ankara and won the top three cups in Ankara. In the Young Horses Class 1.25 (6 years old)- 1.30m (7 years old) Gerry Flynn on the 6 years old mare SIEC Worella qualified for the jump off with 6 riders and he placed 6th with 4 penalties. The second day at the 3* show in Athens started with the 1.35m class. Gerry Flynn on Feng Schui completed the first round clear and continued in the second place. He had also another clear round in 31,85 sec which put him in to the 5th place. This morning at CSI 3* Cortina, Sevil Sabanci, riding SIEC Aristo, finished 3rd in the 1.30m class, in a field of 30 competitors. This result qualifies Sevil for one of 10 places in the Final of the 1.30m category which will be contested on Sunday.
